Postmark LaFollette held its inaugural fundraiser “Mardi Gras” on February 10, 2024, at The Stables. Postmark LaFollette is a collaborative Creative Arts, History, and Culture center that serves our community and Campbell County as a whole. We offer many programs for people of all ages.
The band Second Wind performed Chicago and New Orleans jazz music along, with popular R&B Standards. The Campbell County High School Jazz Band also performed. A live auction was held with items including UT basketball and baseball tickets, locally crafted quilts, and other one-of-a-kind woodwork and more.
Food stations were set up throughout the venue including shrimp & and grits, crab stuffed mushrooms, corn fritters, chicken & sausage gumbo, red beans & rice, and low country boil and for those less adventurous, chicken tenders, mashed potatoes and green beans.
A costume contest and a mask contest also took place with special guest Chapman Hill Winery offering an award-winning wine tasting.
The Stables address is 265 Fincastle Rd, LaFollette. To learn more about Second Wind, visit www.secondwindknox.com
